These are held twice a year, once at the beginning of the year and then again in Term 3. They involve the child's Kaiarahi (Form Teacher), the child and their parent(s). They take 15 mins and are designed to allow for an in-depth discussion of a child's progress at school and what goals they have set for their future development.
Twice a year parents can meet with staff to discuss school reports.

Week 1 of Term 3 we hold an evening for parents/caregivers to come and meet with us regarding our senior curriculum and what will be taking place. Along with this we wish to take this opportunity to discuss the school's position on ICT and the benefits and problems we are faced with on a daily basis.
Information on school activities and requirements are distributed to students and emailed out to parents/caregivers once a month.
Our student reports can be found on the Kamar parent portal (a link for this is on the top right of the home page). These are updated at least once a term for each subject. At the end of term 3 parents/caregivers of students in Years 11-13 will be sent a report on the progress that has been made this year and feed forward will be given to help students finish the year well. Parents/caregivers of students in Years 9 and 10 will have access to a JCEA report at the end of each term along with subject specific comments termly. These will all be found on the parent portal.
A monthly meeting to discuss issues affecting Maori students.
Parents wanting to talk to the Board of Trustees about matters of policy and governance may do so by arrangement.
By arrangement, parents can communicate with teachers by email.
